POWER Engineers Opens Bay Area Office
HAILEY, IDAHO — POWER Engineers, Inc., an Idaho-based consulting engineering company, has opened a new office in the San Francisco Bay Area. The new office is located in Point Richmond, offering convenient access to the Bay Area and surrounding communities. The Point Richmond office is the home base for Dave Tateosian and Bob Webb, POWER Engineers employees with distinguished backgrounds in consulting and utility system engineering in the Bay Area. Both Tateosian and Webb are veterans of work in senior positions with Altran Corporation and Pacific Gas & Electric.
The new Point Richmond office is already deeply involved in engineering several fast-track generation facilities that will help increase generation capacity to meet California’s critical power requirements. POWER Engineers expects this source of activity to continue, along with work in telecommunications, high-tech manufacturing, food processing, petrochemical, health care and pulp and paper industries. POWER Engineers and Tateosian, the office’s leader and chief engineer, expect the office to have a strength of 16 engineers and designers by the end of 2001 because of the blazing demand in the area for power plant and industrial plant design services.
