POWER completed a five-year task order contract with the U.S. Department of State to provide design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and start-up services for electrical infrastructure projects at US embassy sites world-wide. POWER also provides on-site training of embassy personnel to ensure they are capable of operating and maintaining the new electrical equipment.
The POWER team traveled to the embassy sites to provide on-site surveys of projects and evaluated the design-build requirements to meet the goals of the electrical infrastructure repair projects. POWER provided the following services:
- Conduct the Site Survey
- Review the scope of the project
- Engineer a solution
- Identify the design-build team with the required clearances to do the work
- Develop design, schedule and fixed-price budget
- Procure the required equipment
- Ship all of the electrical equipment, tools, and other gear to the embassy site
- Send the team to the site and complete the work
- Train embassy personnel on the new equipment.
- Provide record drawings, and other O&M data

- Installation and replacement of UPS systems
- Electrical system component failure investigation and repair
